MLO 6 Research and Technology.
6.1 Students gain knowledge of appropriate research methodologies and are able to apply them in their studies.
6.2 Students use appropriate technology in research studies relative to Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures.
6.3 Students collect, manage, and analyze current and emerging technology-based resources to develop and produce their scholarly work.
In order to complete this MLO 6. I took these following classes: Span 300 (Pre-capstone Spanish Majors), WLC 300 (Major Pro seminar), and WLC 400 (Major Capstone).
All of these classes are important in the degree because it depends on them to achieve the goal of graduating. In these classes I taught myself to do research, to use the different sources that our library has electronically, in order to use true sources, because it is important at the time of being research, to have reliable sources. Through the use of technology we create teamwork by sharing work so that we can share opinions about our work and receive feedback. I had practice using the appropriate form of MLA-based writing for our capstone project, as well as using correct use of citation, end of page citation and synthesizing information. Also in these classes the teachers prepare us for the research path and the use of methodology, planning and analysis. Finally, all my work during the study of this degree is reflected in the creation of my e-portfolio, where the public or anyone who wants to know more about my work in the degree can see through it. This will indicate the classes taken and what they helped me with, my capstone project, my learning service and my learning outcomes.
