Course Narrative
In this class I learned about Japanese culture. I realized that the Buddhist religion is the most influential in this country, and that there is also a very internationally recognized pilgrimage where all Buddhist temples are visited, whether believers or not, many people go to these temples to ask for favors or to give thanks for the favors already received. Many people go on foot, or go by car. I also learned how many layers of their clothing show that indicates their status or power in society. I liked knowing about their festivals and poems written.
